These points are literally so dumb...
Glass..? The drop test was done by everythingapplepro and they held up prettty fine.
Paranoia..? JerryRigEverythng literally punctured the battery and nothing happened.
Who cares if bixby isn't ready.. Its got google assistant which is better than siri so no loss there..
Samsung has worked really hard to make the os look great...
And finally the one valid reason not to buy it is the fingerprint sensor though u have iris and face unlock...

Just got done watching this on my S8+. My goodness, how I love the 6.2" screen. Audio got better too.

This list is so stupid, like seriously paranoia? Is this even a reason? For S8 there was a dedicated battery testing facility that tested over 1000 S8's battery in different condition and the result was positive on all. Then we have another reason:. BIXBY isn't ready? Wtf? People will hardly use it and those who do can wait, it's not something without which the phone is useless. Then we have glass, wow CNET just wow. And lastly fingerprint scanner on the back. 99 out of 100 people buying the phone won't even care where they scanner is present. This is one of the worst videos I've seen of CNET. Makes no sense

I saw an article where the writer had heard from someone at Samsung that the fingerprint reader was forced higher because of the battery. I've heard it's not that much of an issue with a case and mine comes in tomorrow so I'm not worried.

I'm not a Samsung super fan, and currently I use the iPhone. But these reasons really could be applied to almost any new phone out there. I was hoping for a few more details based on actual usage of the phone.

My biggest reason not to get the Samsung Galaxy S8? The 128 GB Black Pearl variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. 😸 I'm ok with not having a facial/iris scanner for the time being. Besides I like having the fingerprint scanner on the front. Also I got the 256 GB card included so that means 384 GB of storage!😸 #ImhappywithmyS7edge

I literally have the phone. The fingerprint scanner ain't annoying or bad. I get it about every time.

6) no more 16:9 aspect ratio (so when watching videos there will be the biggest bezels on the side) most apps won't be scaled for the display so you'll still get the bezels that were removed in the first place
7) Samsung phones have a reputation for not holding up over the years
8) with an over 5.5" display and over 500 pixels per inch and a pretty small battery in such a large phone, battery life may be an issue
9) only 64GB available. Yes there's expandable storage but that slows down the phone and app loading times.
10) Pretty basic upgrades. Other than the display and Bluetooth 5.0 there's not much to upgrade to. Still no stereo speakers or dual camera like other phones on the market

If thats the best complaints against this phone, I cant wait until next week when I get mine. I seriously dont get the argument of the fingerprint sensor. There are 3 other ways to unlock the phone. Watching many reviews I have seen those that put a case on the phone say its no longer a problem finding the sensor and accidently rubbing the camera lense.
