Thank you for inviting Reina. She spoke so well and busted so many myths/misconceptions about nursing. One of my top favourite episode so far.

10:14 the phenomenal is called 回光返照 or 'final radiance of setting sun' a short period of lucidity or energy surge right before someone died.

Mad respect to nurses December 2024 admitted to NUH for 2 weeks … saw the hard work and dedication the nurses have … not forgetting most patients are elderly and high risk of falls which means most of the stuff like bathing, changing diapers or even simple things like eating your meals needs nurses/healthcare assistant to do it

All I can say is an experience that I encounter that 2 weeks .. you really need patience and passion to be in this line

Current batch of CCP student here! And yes, there are more to nursing than changing diapers and bathing our patient. We actually learn diseases, diagnosis, medical procedures and even medicine in school. But of course, we have higher emphasis on care management because nurses are the 1st point of contact in wards. As nursing is part of an multidisciplinary team, we are not segregagted by who is of higher order but what part to play so each patient has the best care possible.

I know about code blue because when my toddler son was admitted to KK hospital. The bed beside him had a code blue incident. Everybody was rushing into the ward.

And the mum was crying hysterically. Thankfully the boy was revived.
