Becky, I want you to know that I always wanted to make my own soap. I was afraid to until I saw your soap videos. I got the courage to make my first batch (with my husband on stand by). Friends and neighbors wanted to try it, and after a short while I did start a small home business. I love to educate people about natural soap.

Thank you Becky, for showing these videos.

Awesome!  We make our own soap.  We do it so we can control what chemicals we use.

I use Becky's Olive Oil bar soap as shampoo. It leaves my long hair manageable, light and shiny.

I've been using this recipe with coconut oil since 2017 and I'm so thankful I found your video!! We love the soap and have since stopped buying any other soaps from stores! And yes goggles and gloves are a necessity when making this! Even a mask helps and outdoors if possible!

Thanks, Becky! I've got a recipe I love, but the ingredients are difficult to find, not to mention expensive. I'm going to try your recipe next time. I really like your relaxed approach. It takes the terror out of soap making which other videos portray. Yes, you can get burned, but women have been making soap for centuries. It's not nuclear science :-). It's fun!

2 safety points: Wear gloves & keep vinegar nearby as a neutralizing agent if you do get lye or uncured mixture anywhere it shouldn't be.

Thank you so much for your videos!  I've been wanting to make soap since I was a teen.  Tonight I made my first bath after watching several videos these past few days.  You make it look so easy and I was so nervous!  I love how you read us the list of ingredients and let us write them down.

Becky, you did a great service to share how easy soapmaking is to do at home.   I, too, make my own soap at home as many thousands of women over the centuries who did not have goggles and gloves did.  Don't let the OSHA-lovers bring you down girl--makin' soap is fun and easy if done with care and consideration of what you are working with.

I love this because she is telling you what other ways you can do if you don't have all the equipments she's using. Godbless ma'am.: -)

Hi, Becky, I am enjoying your shows.  I used to be a museum curator and demonstrated lots of things that colonials did, how they lived and coped with life before the industrial revolution.  Cooking on the hearth etc.  Your shows remind me of so many of those old skills.  lots of fun.  I started a blog called: prepping without monsters under the bed. .. my spouse died recently so I have not gotten back to the blogs for a while, but you are stirring my interest again.

That's awesome! I'm having one of those, "universe is sending me a message" moments right now LOL No joke, I was at my grocery store last week, and I saw this magazine about how to build your own house mortgage free, setting up solar panels, and growing your own food. That magazine still has me thinking about building my own home because I'm sick of the rat race as well! LOL I've started to make my own deodorant, and I want to learn how to make soaps and shampoos. Thank you for this video!!!

You’re a great teacher, very detailed, especially explaining trace! Most videos assume the viewer knows the terminology and what trace is. Bravo! I love olive oil and eucalyptus. Unto your coconut oil soap, so happy, I feel more confident in doing my first soaps!!!

Believe it or not, I actually found this homemade soap video of yours on Amazon Prime Video last year or the year before. I didn't realize that you had a YouTube channel, I wasn't very knowledgeable of YouTube. So glad I found you here so now I can watch all of your videos. Thank you!!!
