DIY Melt-and-Pour Soap Bars | Soap Making At Home

Soap-making can sometimes be a tad overwhelming. But today, A.V. Perkins is here to help simplify the process using what’s known as the melt-and-pour technique. It’s easy and straightforward, plus, it smells delicious the whole time. She’s making three bars of soap with different scents that would make the perfect present this holiday season. Or you can keep them for yourself, we would. (wink emoji).

A refreshing take on these varieties. Loved it 😍. But, why not food colouring? If it’s good to eat then it’s good for the skin isn’t it? Or is there a reason why food colouring shouldn’t be used? Thank you 😊

You should not add any lavender, mint, or lemon slices to melt and pour soap as it will mold and turn brown. The lavender buds will end up looking like mouse poop
