Before buying your next car, do your research on price; visit:

It's usually price! Who wants to pay $70k for a truck? Or $50k for a car, while most people make only $50k a year. It's not rocket science!

I remember when a car did not cost the price of a small house

We better not bail any of these greedy companies out. Let them fail. If they can't build a competitive business, they don't need to be in business.

Oh wow! It is almost like if you over price your cars in an economy where income increases have not matched massive inflationary rates... no one CAN or WANTS to buy your cars.

Bring back crank-up windows and pushbutton radios. Slider heater controls and analog gauges. Flush all computer controls. Bring back cars that start by twisting a key in a slot, and the same key unlocks the door. Cars that you can fix when opening the hood and recognizing everything you see. Dump catalytic converters. I know, I know, I'm just an old-fashioned old guy yearning for the past. But, I'm PROUD of it!

I avoid vehicles with too much technology. I prefer simple, reliable, affordable cars.

It doesn't help when the dealer tries to add a $7000 "market adjustment" to the already overpriced vehicle I was interested in buying but I declined after they tried that stupidity with me.

The new cars are so unreliable and with very high repair cost you would have to be a fool to buy one

The prices are crazy. People are hanging on to their current vehicles

Just imagine if a car company started selling a basic 4 cylinder, no tech, just power steering/locks/windows that you could buy direct with little to no markup. Wouldn't they make money on volume if it just looked halfway decent?

My Lincoln navigator didn't last 6 years before it rusted out completely. My land rover blew up in 4 years. Mercedes and BMW were money pits.

No one wants a mortgage payment for a car.

Sad thing is that the only people that really get hurt are the workers. You know that the executives and large stockholders already squeezed out what they wanted

I paid off my 2020 Honda Black Edition and CRV and was paying $1200 a month for both vehicles. I went looking for a third car and would have to pay over what I was paying for two cars. They think the Covid pricing is still in play. I’ll just bank the 1200 a month

They'd rather go bankrupt then sell at normal prices?
