I found that placing a towel on the bottom of the tub helped calm my dog down because they feel more secure when their feet don't slip.

EXCELLENT VIDEO! As soon as I watched this I gave my pit mix a bath using your technique. I felt like I really got him clean by washing in sections instead of just free-styling. I did rinse each section as I went along, and then a thorough rinse at the end. Now if I could just trim his nails!

Just a tip you can go to your local hardware store and or most Walmart retail and pick up a sprayer attachment for your bathtub usually under 20 bucks❤

For me not to get a bath while bathing my dog, I've discovered doing the body first without wetting the head helps. Then I will wash her face and ears, rinse her body, and then rinse her face. Also, towel drying in the tub and placing a towel on the bottom gets her squirming herself dry. This way, I'm not chasing her😅😊

What's wrong with that one shampoo? It's the only one I could find in tear free, so that is what I use for my dogs face.

My tiny Bichon is weird. She hates baths and tries to climb out before I'm done rinsing. It's like she has a timer, like those car washes. When 5 minutes are up, she's done! The minute her feet hit the floor, she's zooming around the house and I swear she's laughing. Once she's speed dried herself, she happily lets me blow dry her. Strange dog.🐶
