Extra tip guys: the conditioner should never be applied on the scalp

Three helpful tips I learned from other resources:
1: Bend your neck and let water flow from the back of head instead of front, as frontal hair is more fragile and prone to breakage.

2: Conditioner should only be applied on top half of hair, not on the scalp. Short hair doesn’t need as much conditioning as long hair.

3: Use sulfate-free shampoos

"I was what they call an assistant."... LOL I assisted it for 12 months and it was invaluable experience.. Even to this day, my cients love my shampoos and my 7 min scalp massages that make them PUTTY in my hands. A great shampoo experience is part of the service. Get in there and gently scrub. I hate getting "half-assed" shampoos, and that's all I ever get when I visit other salons. Someone gifted me a high-end blow out at a salon on Santa Monica Blvd about ten years ago, and jt was.a Japanese salon. There was a fully reclining hampoo BED. The guy scrubbed my head so magically, really sudsing up. It fekt amazing. White he massaged my head some other person massaged my FEET! OMG. It was heaven
Oh, anf my hands were dipped in paraffin. No wonder it was a $150 service. I was unable to make a coherent sentence because I was so relaxed.

Simple really:
Direct the shampoo lather to the scalp ONLY. Don’t forget the back of your head and behind your eyes. Avoid the strands.
Conditioner should be directed to the strands ONLY.

I’ve been using 2 in 1 shampoo and pretty much dumping a pump on my head and spreading it everywhere. I hope this advice changes my hair

Really important forgot to mention. After you shampoo you want to make sure that your ring out hair so its not dripping wet. That way the condtioner doesn't get deluded by water. Also not sure prob depends in person but I've heard you want to shampoo twice. Since first time shampoo doesn't really suds up or anything. Second time it does.

I just had a stem cell transplant from cancer, Myelofibrosis. I had a week of chemo first and I lost all of my hair. I had great colored blonde hair, thick for all the color I used for over thirty years, I had great hair. I only washed it two to three times a week and I would condition my hair while in the pool (never putting my hair in the chemicals) after an hour or two I would rinse with cold water from the hose. Never took a hot shower always a cool shower. When I lost my hair from the transplant (p.s. I'm cured from my cancer from my 20 year old donor). Now my hair is growing, but the top of my hair is growing thick straight up, kinda looks like a guy's DA from the 80's. The sides are straight and I brush it down (so it's straight, I always had straight hair), why isn't the top of my hair starting to fall over down on the sides. How do I train it to grow down? When I try to brush down it's pretty short and naturally seems like it wants to go straight up and I hate that. I do put hair thickening products in it and massage it into the scalp area. My transplant drs won't let me color it. I get it done at the saline first with bleach, then with highlights (blonde), them I would get lowlights (blonde on blonde, all blonde) and a glaze and a good haircut to make it healthy. My transplant dr said no to dying it yet until I get all my immunizations shots which will be in May (my one year). Some people do it anyway, buy I'll wait till May 2024. Do you know why the top of my hair won't grow downwards to give it length? Thank you so much! A great fan of yours!
