How to Create Animated Text Videos with Canva - Full Tutorial

In this tutorial, Judie Russell from The Vidacademy breaks down how simple it is to make an animated text video and I'll show you step-by-step how to create one of these videos using Canva.

If you aren't already familiar with Canva then I would suggest setting up a free account today it is one of my favourite platforms for so many things including PowerPoint presentations, social media graphics, and posters.

More recently Canva is moving into the video space and this is really exciting for me because I get to use it and I get to show people how to use it so let's go through step by step how I create an animated text video with Canva:

Is there any way to have text extend (in duration) across multiple clips in a video timeline? If a video that I wish to create comprises several clips joined by transitions, I find that any text / text box that I create only lasts till the end of the clip in which it was made. I can shorten it by pulling the left edge of the purple timing bar to the right, so that it doesn't start right away when the clip begins but is delayed. But i can't seem to pull the right edge of the purple timing bar past the end of the individual clip.

Hello Judie, may I ask some questions?
1.- what do you do to have a green screen in the background
2.-How long can the videos on canva last maximum, I would like to film videos with a duration of around 5 min long?
3.-Do you consider them suitable for a training course on YouTube? I would like to make different 5 min long videos.
4.-Do you know what tool I can use so people see me in half of the screen and on the other half a kind of white board with the most important highlights ?
If Canva does not have the tools for what I mentioned above, is there any other app, platform or software you recommend ?
