In this video, I am testing bleach and vinegar to remove moss and green algae on walls. To see which one is more effective in getting rid of moss, mildew and green algae on walls, watch the video until the end. You do not need to spend tens of dollars on the products they sell to get rid of moss, mildew and green algae, you can just do this on a budget easily! My garage wall facing North got this unpleasant looking green haze growing on it and it was just too easy to get rid of it!

Thank you for the straight forward analysis. I have moss on my roof and am trying to decide what to use to get rid of it. I think I will do what you did. Try a small section with each product and see what works the best.

I am interested in an update on this. How long did those treatments (vinegar or bleach) last before the moss or algae reappeared? How often are these treatments needed to keep the moss or algae controlled? Thanks.

And those of you who scrubbed down the surface with a brush or sponge after applying the spray and then hosed down the wall or deck, did you get better results?

Thank you for this. Exactly what I needed. I will go with the vinegar for safety of the plants.

Vinegar using full strength works. It just takes a little more time.

Thanks so much for this. I guess I must have a whole bottle of either one for this task alone.

I am just seeing this method now. My wall is tyrolean but its like the algea/moss is inbetween the tyrolean and concrete. Will this still work for me? Its beginning to loosen up the tyrolean on the bottom of the wall
