Finally someone who is telling us how to do the beginning basics. Other people title their videos as beginner then ASSUME people know everything you've described here. Thank you. I'm subscribing.

Since I'm a beginner, I really appreciate these basic instructional videos. I just bought a rotary tool for the first time.

So grateful to have found this video! I could not for the life of me figure out how to get my bit out! lol so your video helped me alot... turns out I just needed to push the stinkin button. Thank you for not assuming we all know how these things work and making a video for those of us that dont.

I felt so dumb not knowing how to change these (I was afraid of damaging my tool by using too much force), and so many videos are unhelpful. But THIS video! You are a superstar, thank you so much 😂

Hello again, mate!!
First on search embarrassed 😞 so I subscribed. 699 I am! That’s how old I feel when using that wee wrench! Otherwise I’m just very happy that your knowledge, verbal clarity and manual dexterity are available for us in living colour!
Gratitude for your uploads, Sir!

THANK YOU!!! I was so lost on how to get the bit in. Leave it a little loose THEN tighten it on 👌 saved me from going back to the store looking like an idiot 😂

Thanks a million times over! I just bought a rotary power tool with a flex shaft and I thought I put everything together right but the flex shaft part is not working and so this helps a lot maybe I just didn't tighten it enough thank you thank you!

Thanks. This first timer was thoroughly confused because the collet was stuck in the collar. Popped it out after seeing your video.

Thanks for the video! I have a similar rotary tool (Mastercraft brand). I had to stop and re-tighten the collet constantly in the few occasions I used it. Wasn't sure what I did wrong. No I know what the little wrench included in the kit is for. Will try using it next time.

Hi there!
Thanks for the great job!!! Really great clips! Btw I am very new to the rotary tool world, and my sanding bit is kind of stuck in the collet, and I find it hard to remove. Any tips how I can remove the bit without damaging the collet.
At first it was kind of loose and the bit seemed to be coming off while I used the sanding bit, so I tightened it and now I cannot remove it :(
Would highly appreciate your advice!

Are collet size standard or usable to any rotary brand?

When I put my bit into the sleeve and tighten it, the bit is still loose. I'm wondering if the sleeve is missing something (it is a perfect cylinder) that tapers the space so the collet compresses.
