The first 21 seconds of the video were all I needed. I had up on the written instructions.

This is a better vid than the longer one getting all the up votes. I couldn't make any sense of the incomprehensible manual - even how to put on attachments (and I'm a Mensa member) and the other video didn't show this. Now I need a video that shows me how to use the Dremel rotary disc attachments they sell . Thanks.

an explanation that didn’t take a 20 minutes of explaining and STILL NOT learn HOW. Thank you so much!!!! Do you have other videos on dremels? Maybe what the attachments are for and sizes and when do I change to what and collets, what are they and what are they for? 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Did you know that the plastic nosepiece/front grip is also a collet wrench? _And_ it makes your collets last **way** longer? It's actually a far better tool than the regular loose wrench used in the video. It's faster and easier, because it's always right there next to where you need it, and on top of that, it limits your leverage, so it helps keep you from cranking the nut down too tight & smashing your shiny collets, unlike the regular wrench, which is long enough to let you do that. If the collet is in OK shape, like when they're new, the collet nut doesn't need to be anywhere _near_ as tight as most people set it. So, here's what you do:
Just unscrew the sort-of hourglass-shaped nose piece (aka the Dremel "EZ TWST"), then press the shaft lock button, slide the nose piece/EZ-Twist forward, up over the collet nut (you may need to rotate the EZ-Twist to get it lined up with the collet nut), then use it to loosen or tighten the collet nut as you desire, then slide the EZ-Twist rearward and screw it back onto the front of the Dremel. If you're not sure what I'm describing, the shaft comes out of the front of the Dremel rotary tool, right through the center of the part I'm talking about. If you look closely, straight at the front of the tool, you'll see "DREMEL EZ TWST, " arrows, and padlock symbols, engraved into the front of the EZ-Twist collet wrench. You should also be able to notice the shape of the hole in the center; it's flat on two sides, just like the regular wrench, to fit the collet nut.

Hope this helps someone!

Thank you! I saw my husband do it by hand and wondered what I was doing wrong. My fingers aren’t wrenches, apparently. 😎👍
