A DEEP DIVE Into Disney Limited Edition 17” Heirloom Dolls!! Beginner’s Guide: Tips, Tricks & More!

With the most recent D23 releasing some stunning, new Limited Edition Dolls, namely Jane Porter from Disney’s Tarzan, my love for these 17” dolls has been reignited!

Now despite not even attending the most recent D23, I still feel like I have been bit by the Disney bug and wanted to share all my tips and tricks for new collectors of these gorgeous Limited Edition Dolls!

This video is extensive, beginning with a complete snapshot at the history of this beloved doll line.

I cover all the various releases through the years and share insight to those early releases that feel like a distant memory at this point.

Thanks for this super comprehensive overview of these beautiful dolls. When I look at the dolls being produced today vs. those from the past, I feel sadness that the quality that was once fairly built-in has now become such a high priced premium feature. Somewhat expensive collector dolls now = paper-like, details-printed-on cloth clothes and plastic unpainted accessories. The Jane doll is one of my holy grails...she is so unique...but definitely priced in the "in my dreams" zone. Always good to have dreams, though. Thanks again...really good presentation!

Giselle from enchanted is my favorite and when I saw a a picture of her d23 doll I googled naively thinking I could buy her lol.
I had no idea she was so huge at 17 in and so scarce.
All the information seemed overwhelming so I didn't really keep up with it however when I scroll Mercari I see these dolls for sale and your video came right on time.
I'm only interested in Giselle and cream dress designer Tiana ATM so I think my collection would be relatively small.
