My fingers start hurting 😢 especially the ring finger...its like the chopstick is digging into it

I'm hit or miss with chopsticks lol. Sometimes I do really well, other times my fingers are too white to hold them properly and the top stick ends up pivoting to the left or right so instead of grabbing anything they just kinda "roll over" the food and then it looks like they cross.

Sometimes chopsticks fell from my fingers. Before the video I was trying to hold and the chopsticks are not working I feel awkward, embarrassed and like what to do now then I searched on YouTube and you are the on my phone and I just click and it's too easy after the video it's very very easy. Are the flat ones better for some foods?
