Nice tutorial. If anyone is still having trouble try pressing the pad of your ring finger against the side of the bottom chopstick rather than resting the chopstick on the side of your ring finger. I find it helps stabilize that bottom one better.

Not me who's been using chopsticks since I was like 5 years old. Because my parents did a foreign exchange student program thing where they had Japanese students that lived with us when I was a baby and they brought me a kimono as well as brought my parents a bunch of different like ornate pretty chopsticks... I love chopsticks.

Yeah, I don't think most Western people hold a pencil that way. Maybe an artist making light brush strokes.
