Banana Chocolate Cake Recipe 🍫🤍
A banana cake that’s not only wonderfully moist but also brings little moments of happiness with delicate chocolate chips 🥰
📝 Ingredients:
• 100 g soft butter (about 1/2 cup)
• 2 small ripe bananas
• 70 g brown sugar (about 1/3 cup)
• 2 eggs (size M)
• 180 g all-purpose flour (about 1 1/2 cups)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 75 g chocolate chips (about 1/3 cup)
🤍 Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat (160°C fan). Grease a loaf pan (10 x 20 cm) or line it with parchment paper.
2. Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork until smooth.
3. Beat the soft butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well.
4. Mix the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add the mixture along with the mashed bananas to the butter-sugar mixture and stir until a smooth batter forms.
5. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the batter until evenly distributed.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 40–45 minutes. Check with a toothpick before removing the cake.
7. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
