Damn wasn't expecting holly to keep all the reciepts including the Toilet tax one me i knew what i started with and how much i had left in the end and all in i spent about £5k including all my flights travelling 6 month around every country in SE Asia. So anyone doing a longer backpacking trip in SE asia thats your basic/frugal backpacker budget but i did do a lot of experiences and activities.

I did not want to spend too much money when I went to Cancun Mexico with my credit card, but I was pressured to do it such as those excursions, the jewelry in Isla Mujeres, and the anti-aging creams at Cancun airport. Even I got angry and irritated and told them that it was too expensive and wanted to leave, they would not let me leave and did not take my "No" as a No. Now my sister and brother-in-law are very angry with me for spending too much money when I was pressured to do so. The shop people just would not leave me alone. They manager of the cream shop in Mexico grabbed me into the shop, put the anti-aging creams on me when I do not even have wrinkles nor sagging skin, and I have a very few lines on my face and would not let me leave when I wanted too. He forced me to buy creams especially when I told them that they were too expensive and he just grabbed me. He hugged me and touched me when I did not want to be touched.

191 for travel insurance is hugely expensive. I get mine including snowsports and all the services for a 1/4 of the cost. Make sure you shop around!

Damn your travel insurance is expensive! I pay about that for 12 month comprehensive worldwide insurance (with add-on for my wedding rings and electronics) 😳
