my teacher just made me and the class take notes about this and gave us examples. I had no idea how to do this when she gave us the assignment. I thought I was just terrible at geometry and that I was slow. but this really helped me. it turned out that the problem isn't my intelligence, but my teachers methods of explaining.

you just have to multiply all that shity numbers and divide the result by 3 that's it don't lose your time

The 1/3 is part of the formula. The volume of a pyramid is 1/3 multiplied by the area of the base (A) x (height)

This is a lot easier than the comments make it sound.
Thank you for the help.

I watched this video just to know the namings of all parts of pyramid practical.Because I am a student of class nine and the topics of pyramid included in the chapter 12.And according to our educational system we have to study with it in class ten(we have to study/excercise one higher math book within 2 years...that means- class 9 and 10).consequently I am totally renewed with these namings. But my aunt give me a practical ledger to solve it systematically .And so, in order to ensure my solution as thorough I watched this video. And the video is so thorough and vivid.Thank you from Bangladesh.😄😄😊🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩

hi ! Easiest formula without fraction V=Ah/3 V=Area x height / 3 or 168 x 26 / 3 Thanks !

What if there are 4 measurements. For example, the height is 9 but there's also 8, 6, and 10 ft. Do I multiply all the 3 numbers together and then do the rest?

Thank you, very fast explanation was easy to understand

Is there a specific reason why we should divide the total volume of the pyramid by 3?

thank you!!! this helped me understand

There are some fundamental errors in the video; the apex does not need to be perpendicular to the centre of the base, it just needs to be measured perpendicular to the base. Hell, the apex doesn't even need to be over the base. The video could also benefit with an explanation as to why the formula includes "divide by three" since to many viewing this may seem arbitrary.

this might sound stupid, but, what 1/3rd of what x 26 ?

in what order do you multiply the 1/3, a and h?
