✅ Just a quick note about why we multiply by 1/3 (or divide by 3)... We multiply by 1/3 because a pyramid is exactly 1/3 the volume of a prism with the exact same base and height. This is explained further and drawn out in the video above (Volume of a Square and Rectangular Pyramid).
