On the box it says 8K Ready, meaning when the tech comes out and is standard or featured on almost everything or most things, the console is ready to support those things because how powerful it is and the tech it has inside it.

HDMI 2.1 support 8k 60fps but it doesn't mean that it will run 8k

8k is labeled so that they can support 4k 60hz x2 equals 4k 120hz
