ok but what about when a 55 inch 8k tv goes on sale for 999.99 at that point what would be better the 4k 120 hz or the 8k 60hz the 4k in this case is around a 100 more then the 8k I mentioned. This would be for ps5 gaming and average tv and movies streaming maybe some blurays.

I've showed people 4k and 1440p footage side by side, and literally no one can tell the difference. This is on a 4K bigscreen as well. We should have stayed at 1440. Easier on content creators to edit, cheaper to the consumer.
