I think it has a lot of potential. I personally use to for classes note-taking, and at work we use when we need to collaborate on the same documents, my department loves it ever since I showed it to them!

Excellent workflow! This is exactly what I have been looking for.

A consideration, particularly related to project management, is that in larger organisation, cross functional teams tend to work on 'configuration baselines' for example, v1.0 of the design, v2.0 etc If that design was implemented as a loop page, the design that you were developing against would become 'a moving target'. Though I guess if the design was implemented as a loop workspace with multiple baselined loop pages, that might work. Typically inter-operating teams needs to understand changes in order to assess any potential downstream impact, being able to change everything from everywhere on a whim could create chaos unless managed carefully. There is value, however, in always being able to 'see the latest'. I do genuinely believe there is a very positive part to play for loop within project management. Great video, as usual! I really like this 'I go to a conference, and bring you back the highlights' content!! You have a great skill of 'making it real' for your viewers. Thank you.

What a fabulous video! It will make it so much easier for me to explain to my team how we can leverage Loops to keep track of tasks, project details, and meeting notes all in the same place! Keep up the amazing work!

How do you handle meeting notes for recurring meetings?

This is so fascinating. Microsoft really have not done a great job of actually explaining these things to the public. This is not quite ready for total implementation, but I think it will be brilliant if they can trim the fat off everything that currently has doubled functionality.

It seems like Loop at the moment is an ad hoc solution to unifying the old Planner/new Planner/To Do/Outlook/Teams/Whiteboard/etc, but it doesn’t seem like anything was designed with Loop in mind originally. Thus the competing and redundant features.

Please can you do a video on permissions in MS Loop. Particularly for sharing entire Workspaces (not individual pages which is of no use to us) and which no one seems to cover. We've worked on a big MS Loop project at work but our manager can't add the SharePoint permission groups she usually does within SharePoint so we are not allowed to go live with it. I understand MS Loop sits under SharePoint embedded, but no one seems to understand what this is or how to change access permissions.

So much similar to Craft Notes app. Hey MS…copied a lot from them, didn’t they? 😜

Hello, you show the link with the normal MS Planner. Can Loop also be linked with the new Premium Planner?

How do I delete the test Planner in a group?

Loop feels like a good start. The mobile app is extra limited (but even newer). Keeping an eye on it. Especially making my own meeting templates to chose when scheduling a meeting (agenda/minutes).

How can I get loop to organize notes and tasks for recurring meetings in a manageable way? I would really like to see all pending tasks from all meetings in a series in one view.

Jonathan, sorry but this question has to do with a video you posted about two years ago. I followed your instructions on how to perform a backup from my laptop to an external ssd. I thought everything had gone well until I opened the file on the external ssd. It had formatted the transferred data into many folders and in a zip file format. This has made it difficult to locate the information that I want to open. What did I do wrong and how do I correct it. Thanks

Why make mail for that loop if you can share it with Mickey? Or loop doesn't support sharing?

I love Notion and can't wait to switch to Loop/Planner for work. The big hole preventing that is the ability to see a filterable view of ALL tasks for all assignees across all my Projects, Plans, or Loops. Have you seen any roadmaps that indicate this might be coming?

I want to be excited for this, but Microsoft is too all over the place.
It looks like Microsoft don't have a coherent product vision for how their pletora of apps should integrate and where one ends and the other begins.
For me as a user there is too much overlap. Too many different places to check things and do things and manage things, all with a slightly different featureset that is doesn't integrate to the level I need it or want.
It's either that OR They have a coherent product vision, but fail to delivier
OR They are now making the moves to do so.
OR They are very unwilling to communicate that vision and how they want to get there.
Loops is promising in concept, but it's awfull that a Plan that is connected to Loops, can't be connected to Planner Premium or to The Planner in Teams.
Little things like that accumulate and get me really iffy.
But as companies have mass licenses for Office 365 products, in many cases I'm kind of forced to make it work as I want my teams to collaborate.
