My ex gf would physically attack me during an argument. I'd just try to hold her and keep her from hurting me or herself while she hit, bit and kicked at me. If she got hurt during these altercations, she'd accuse me of abuse and of me having anger issues. At least she never called the cops; I'm pretty sure she knew I'd leave her if she did.

From life experience I think I know what's happening. Alot of women think that it's ok for them to slap/hit a man when they are arguing vehemently or if he curses at her, after all how many times have we seen women slapping men on TV for saying something horrid. So basically they keep hitting men or maybe just the one man till one day the man she hits strikes back, which is why in most DV cases both parties were hitting each other (Before anyone jumps down my throat with "Oh so men never commit DV", I never said that. What I'm saying is I think alot of women start fight's they can't finish and complain like a sore loser after). That's before we talk about the lesbian DV rate, whoa boy are they try to start a competitive league for abuse?

Also I've noticed in cases of spousal murder where the husband murdered the wife, she is usually described as an angelic woman who somehow married a man who turned out to be some kind of complete monster. I think instead of him being a monster, he was probably more of an average regular guy, and for sure he had faults, but he never knew he was capable of murder until after he married HER.
