Honeywell T6 thermostat. Setting up the Schedule. Programming days/times for scheduling. TH6320WF

Honeywell's T6 touch screen thermostat. Programming to turn on the scheduling feature and then setting up days and times for the thermostat to be set. There's other videos out there, but I wanted to do one showing everything from beginning to end after turning on the scheduling feature in setup of the thermostat.
This does not include setting up the schedule in the Honeywell app.

I’ve had my new thermostat for six months and could never figure out how to set a schedule. Thank you!! I’ve got it working. 😊

We use a woodstove in the winter and need to know how do you not have the scheduled heat.We use it more in the summer with air conditioning. Our contaractor set it to his needs while building.

Great video. My problem is that the T6 is ALWAYS in "away mode" and I don't know how to force it to operate in the "Home" or other modes. How do you change or force it away from the "Away" mode?

If I want my furnace or air conditioner to be off when we are away? And turn on when we come back. Is it possible? Thank you

Hello, does this thermastat not have an outdoor temp and humidity display? I upgraded from the 8000 series which displayed both so I know my system has it.

My thermostat does not display the “wake” setting when my schedule is turned on. It only shows away, home, and sleep. When I go to set the schedule temp and time, the wake option only allows me to select a time but no option to adjust a temperature

Great video, thanks for posting. I did figure out how to set up a schedule but it seems to start before the time I have selected. For example, I have the AC temp set to lower at 10:45 for the night while we sleep but it keeps kicking on the AC and trying to get to the sleep temp as early as 9 or 9:30 pm. How do I prevent it from doing that?

When I go to wake, it only lets me choose the time it does not let me choose the temperature. and on the home page it doesn't show wake it only shows away, home, sleep.

do you know how to fix this

Thank you. You mention that it's easier in the app, but when I use the Resideo app there's nothing for changing the schedule. All it does is show me the current temperature it's set at, and it allows me to change it (in other words, wifi is working).

For anyone who wants their AC to turn on at a certain time and turn off at a certain time, I found a way.

Example: Turn On at 8pm with temp to 70 degrees F before bed and off at 7am the next day

Setup:
Set “2000”or “8:00 PM” for the time on the “Sleep” at 70 degrees F
Set “0700” or “7:00 AM”for the time on the “Wake” AND 90 Degrees for “COOL TO” AND 65 Degrees for “HEAT TO”
Leave “Away” and “Home” empty. It should show “Tap to set” if no schedule and temp is set on there

If the Schedule is set this way, the Thermostat will get confused because it can’t cool to 90 degrees and can’t heat to 65 degrees. It will just be off.

The way I found to turn the scheduling on to show its working was to enter the device settings and set the mode to each day. Then I backed out and the device reset to the scheduling I programmed. I hope this clears up the mode setting for your system.

The screen you show is set on "Away". I can't get mine to switch over to "Home". Is that normal?

Can you select multiple days at once so you don't have to enter the same thing 7 times?

Hey there, can I program each day separately on my T6 Pro, 7-Day, 5-2, 5-1-1 or Non-programmable, Battery or C-Wire (non touch screen model) thanks

This would be nice if we could just ask it to run for a certain period of time like 1hr etc

I have set up the Schedule with no problem But if I set a comfort range of say for example 65 to 70 so Heat to 65 and Cool to 70. Initiate the schedule in Heat Mode, the Scheduler does Not change the Mode so in this example say we have a cold night it won’t let the house get below 65 by turning on the heat to keep it at 65. But let’s say you have a hot day and it goes up to 80 outside. The scheduler stays in Heat Mode rather than switch over to Cool Mode. Same thing in reverse if you start the scheduler in Cool Mode, it cools the house down but if you have a really cold night it won’t click over to Heat to prevent going below 65. I have wondered if it requires a bigger comfort range like 10 degrees 60-70. But I’ve not seen any instructions to that effect. Have you had this experience or is there something I’m missing in the setup? Thanks!
