I remember discovering what emulators were when I was 13 and I remember walking to Target to buy this to play Mario 64 on a laptop. Today I still use Logitech controllers for Street Fighter 1-5. Without that D-Pad street fighter is unplayable for me.

This controller is pure perfection minus the vibration rumble, but is that a definite necessity? I think NOT. I purchased this controller from best buy back in like 2010 I believe and I was using it for my ps3 which I also was given as a birthday gift back in 2010. I was primarily using it for Grand Theft Auto IV at the time and this controller worked so well that people thought I was cheating or using rapid fire, which in my honest opinion is still considered to be cheating *ONLINE* . Just to be noted, this controller doesn't even have a rapid fire function, it's just a damn good controller in my opinion. I just recently purchased two new Logitech controllers from the best buy website but the ones I bought are from a newer generation and are not nearly as good as the classic Logitech USB game pad. This controller is terrible, the buttons get stuck and the square boxes inhibiting the analog sticks make it awkward to play, and don't even get me started on the near useless d-pad!

I miss this controller - I had it for a long time, but it broke a few years ago. It was the best controller I ever held in my hands, I'm going to by it again sometime.

DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER!
It has terrible reviews and i still bought it because of the price, after 3 weeks of use it disconnects and recoencts constantly, the only way to temporary fix it was to tape the wire around the controller and find a sweet spot but even then it will still cut out if you move the controller to much. Its a terrible controller stay away from it, i'm currently looking for another controller.

I grew up with PC when I was 3 years old but I found it difficult to play so my dad bought a gamecube with a controller to play on my PC and on my gamecube ahh

This controller rocks, im from Venezuela and getting a XBOX 360 controller is very expensive here at last this controller with 360CE works very well

I too own this controller, and it works quite well; it's durable and does not feel at all cheap. I just wish there was more plastic casing between the grips and the triggers, so it could fit well in bigger hands.
Also the D-pad isn't that bad, it is like the 360's (which leaves a bit to be desired), but it gets the job done.

i have this gamepad! sadly, after one or two years the wire started opening.
since its direct input you will need xbox360ce for some games. bad thing is that it might automatically hit the left trigger if you move the right stick up or down... seriously does anyone knows a fix for this in xbox360ce?

mine Logitech dual action is going 12 years old of work...every single button works great, so does the analogs....only thing sukz is some games that "demand" a xbox controller...

I'm always looking to buy these when I can. It's strange to see this 10 year old review. It's my favorite gamepad for PC. The ones Logitech make today just don't have the durable construction and weight of this baby. To bad they stopped making them.
