I have the Playseat Challenge and I absolutely love it. Oddly enough for as thin and portable as it is it's incredibly stable and every video I've seen on Playseats like this the wheel and pedal decks loos so wobbly. A big plus is not having the center post (especially considering that one is right at the crotch, you can say that again.) I don't think I could ever upgrade to something bigger/more realistic with a full seat unless it didn't have a center post and was super stable.

Well i use my own mercedes vito passanger seat for 2 peoples cost me about 500 euros but its best in driving with my PC. Because i can seat and work on my PC and when i want i can race. It's so comfotable and for WRC i also play with my mate as a pilot its really funny.

This would go great with Gran Turismo 5. I am a big fan of racing games, but I will have to pass on this as I do not have the funds or space for this device. Cool though. Good review Mark! Keep the good vids coming.

Hej mark.The wheel is nice. I own a G25 wich is similair in feel :)
But you should get some other pedals if you could. The DFP pedals kinda suck. Most populair in the sim world are fanatec clubsport pedals. But there are a lot of different options. In sim racing i win a lot of time by braking late and hard. Using modified G25 pedals. I can feel what i am doing rather than moving my leg on some wet sponge.

I pulled a real car-seat out of a Subaru Imprezza ..stuck it on a wooden box with screws and it cost me less than 160 bucks... this thing costs like $550 ... my seat was 1/4th the price, looks decent and it also does what its supposed to .. and by the way ..the Playseat without the Nascar logo is like $150 less than this model.. you are paying dearly for that logo, lol

this is what i did for something like that....i whent to the junk yard and ripd off a car seat of a really old car and cleaned it up ang got cheap metal tubing and a car wheel controller and duck taped it all together

A good and cheap alternative is an ironing board :) I use a wheel stand pro and a really comfy fold away garden chair, mainly because I can fold both flat and keep them in a small cupboard.

@DaveTheSodaGuy0 Well a car uses gas in this day and age it's around 50 bucks for a full tank it'd b way cheaper to make the 1 purchase and play vidgames
