Me and my friends played this to the death (pun intended) back in the day. It's an excellent fighting game complete with combos and stuff like in tekken - only faster. this is still my favorite of the saga only for being so fast and fluid.

Such a great fighting system. Really underrated series, though it has its fans. I'd say it escapes cult-following to popular in a minor way. Never got to make the first, but the 2nd and 3rd were awesome. 4: Primal Fury, was exclusive to Xbox. >:(

Loved playing bloody roar 2 as a kid, the kicks and punches just felt like they had real force behind it, especially when smashing people out of the cages/rings.

True story. When my brother brought this home the first time, he didn't check the booklet so he didn't know about Fox. Long story short. After hearing him talking about "her" for a couple of days, I had to break it to him. He hasn't touched the game since.

Awesome game though. Here's hoping that Konami (who owns the rights now) reboots it.

Amazing game, Blood Roar 3 was by far the best, NEEDS a rerelease for more recent platforms, and updated psychic force would be great to, and even Chaos Legion.

BR2 was the king. I still play it time to time. My favourite fighting game.

I LOVE this game. Not only is it really easy to pick up and play as Mark points out, but getting into the game is very strategic on many subtle levels. Learning what distance your and your opponents attacks are and whether they strike your vulnerable point while standing high or crouching are all very real things to consider in actual fist to fist combat, while the Beast mode allows you to hit with a variety of more attacks, and to help recover your health bar. This game is a BLAST.

here's a fews other fighting games you might not heard about.ON N64 there is 'flying dragon', 'fighter destiny', 'Bio F.R.E.A.K.S', 'Transformers:Beast Wars Transmetal', 'Deadly Arts', 'Wars Gods', 'Dual Heroes' and 'Power Stone'.
All of those are interesting fighting games, you should take a peek at them.

This game gave me a lot of frustration but fun as well. It's also available as an arcade machine (I know it from MAME). I think the second one is far better but I also have the 3rd game and the GameCube game as well.

I never heard of this fighting game. The fighting games I grew up with playing were Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Dragon Ball.

bloody roar 2 is way better, cant stand to play tekken 3 for too long but this i can play all day long...with friends of course.

Blood Roar 2 is even better, and less cheesy. Besides, i love roaches and there is a guy who can transform into one.

The ps1 had some great games, the power of the ps1 blows me away. A legend of a console.
