Mark, your racing game reviews are so awesome that I got into racing games. Never did like them until you pointed out what makes them so great. Thank you man! Keep up the "hard" work.

This guy reviews every single racing game and hardware on the market, yet every time I see this really sub par driving (especially overtaking which is abominable).

@JTtheLAR: it's not about how I can play better, it's about how he SHOULD play better. I've never seen him do a clean overtake.

So what's your point? That he shouldn't be reviewing driving games? Then find some other reviewer.

So wait a minute. Mark already has the El Camino. What a let down. I thought that he was going to do the show for a decade or so and then as he's being honored at the white house he's given a gold-plated El Camino with lights underneath and spinning rims which he then drives into the ocean to test the boat feature.

You should mention the understeer problem when using wheels on the game instead of a controller which you were doing by the looks of it and I am sure you noticed the sensitivity difference from when you put the wheel on full lock, all you get is understeer but if you don't turn into a corner as much then the turning is fine.

Am I the only expecting Mark's El Camino to be black with flamethrowers?

I had a 70 SS elcamino in high school. It was awesome. I could carry my Yamaha banshee in back when going to the dunes, I could run a 13 second quarter mile. And lots of room for the ladies!

godamit. the previous version of this game, F1 2011, had it on the 3DS. Codemasters, bring the F1 fun back to the Dual Screen. Oh, and im also waiting for the next IndyCar Series game.

I don't think they really need to. We can't afford next-gen gaming to be EVEN MORE expensive than it already is in the current gen.

Just GRID, DiRT and F1. But in fairness, they do all seem to be coming out within short periods of time of each other.

In a way they have managed it because the Young Drivers Test, Champions Mode and Season Challenge are geared towards the more "pick up and play" idea, in some cases feeling more arcade-style, whereas the full Career Mode is the same idea as before - real F1 style career with car setups, more realistic handling (the difference in how the cars handle between Career and other modes is huge) and full on damage/rules etc

Mark is so funny, and awesome reviews as always. The only criticism I'll note (which is hardly a cut against him) is that he's seemingly not an actual F1 fan (which is fine). I say this because he tends to drive the Caterham which is one of the 3 slowest teams, and most F1 fans would tend to pick the front runners like RB, Mclaren, or the Scuderia. No biggie, Mark is a RACING game fan which is all that matters. You'd think he'd at least know of Ferrari though (not at ALL my favourite team btw).

Pfft, he didn't turn right. We all now that he was driving a car in England, and all he did was flip the video. :p

They are good at it. Just look at Criterion: they are making the new NFS and it looks almost identical to Burnout (not that it's a bad thing though).

If Codemasters did it, I bet it would be just like NFS should be (like PS2's NFS Hot Pursuit 2). They know how to make games different, yet in a way you KNOW it's by them.

I played this game on the PC which has better graphics than the PC and even than the graphics sucked cheeks. Even the gravel that would stick to the tires was just brown spots. And the online community is filled with assholes. Really fast cars with assholes and you get the sloppiest start to a racing game ever!
