That's supposed to be a premium security package, it actually costs more than Bitdefender in my country. Good review, unfortunate result for ESET.

Eset is an awesome piece of software. I've used everything else under the sun over the years and nothing comes close. Lightweight and not using many resources. And I don't use any separate anti-malware kit. I have no malware. I can't complain about their software, served me well over the years without problems.]

To compare antivirus solutions you need to do the tests with the same samples, and at the very least the same day.

It's a well known fact the NO product will detect every threat. That's why i use Malwarebytes as well as Eset.

I have used Eset Smart security for years. After I saw your video about free protection, I decided to stick to Sophos home (which I used on some devices already) and returned to Comodo firewall (which I used very, very long time ago). So far I am very satisfied with this free solution. Thanks for these videos and we look forward to another one! Good job.

Advance Heuristic DNA signature is not enable I think it will improve the detection. Please test this by enabling that... thank you

to be honest you were soft in letting ESET even go further after failing phase 1, I mean we pay bunch of dollars for programs that suppose to make us none vulnerable, not less-vulnerable, especially for programs like NOD that cost around 40 $ (which is not cheap in many countries) . Good job man . thank you for your work

I do virus removal and cleanup as a side job and always recommended ESET as a great option but I won't be anymore.
The fact that it let a ransomware infection occur means that the product has a serious weakness.
I was hoping for better results from ESET.

WOW Leo ! Hard to believe. I have had ESET for about a year and a half now. No issues (yet}, but I also run Malwarebytes. Now I am going to call them and ask for a refund and move on. Thanks so much.

Just bought a two year eset licence a couple of weeks ago, great!!
Have never seen it fail a test so miserably, what gives.
It's usually right up there.

I'm using eset in my job on the customers machines and this is not big surprise for me. Hips and firewall with default settings in eset gives questionable security level. If you want better protection you have to set it to interactive mode but brace yourself to the many esets popups

I've been an ESET user for a while. I don't think you were too harsh; you ran a test and the results were lower than expected; it happens. There will always be something that will go undetected. This is why I enable AppLocker too; I have separate regular and admin accounts. I assume you're running this with default settings and latest updates at recording time.

Would have been very helpful and transparent if you had shown ALL the settings you had selected in eSET before starting, also what version(s) you are running.

i am using eset for years and i am very pleased with that .note : u should use the second program for malware detection as well becouse viruses and malwares are different type of think so make a combo and be safe that is it
