Finally a redone malware test for ESET. The last time, something was wrong with it. They might have had some bug in the modules of the program. I cannot explain it somehow else. Using ESET for 9 years, never had any malware destroying my computers.

FYI for anyone after automated handling of detection's....

open the ESET GUI:
Setup > Advanced Setup (or F5) > Under Detection Engine > Real-time file system protection >Threatsesnse parameters > Cleaning level > Strict Cleaning.

This will proactively attempt to clean or delete without the action dialog box :).

Thanks a lot for this test, now I can be sure that I can renew my ESET licenses next month and everything should be ok. Really reassuring results, especially after eset internet security 2019. And it saves me a lot of time, because i won't have to reinstall AV on 10 PCs, just update to the newest version and that's all.

thank you so much for making this video. I was wondering since the version 13 update came out if the "Advanced machine learning" actually helped, and holy shit I did not expect it to improve that much. it went from 96.90% to 99.33% with just this one update

Nice to see that they score so well, I have been using eset for years. Not the cheapest, but the money clearly goes to the right place, the software and not just to someone's wallet.

If these malwares are at most 2 days old, then it's very good score from Eset.. Security products began to get scores above %97 in Leo's tests in recent times as i noticed. Bitdefender, Eset, kaspersky, ..etc as far as i remember and maybe many others, too, which i couldn't remember at first glance.. Behaviour detection has been improved very well in recent times in security products and this is very good for the protection of customers' pcs, too...We all benefit from it.. :) Let malwares be far away from our pcs :)...Thanks for tests, Leo..

tysm. i used eset on my old desktop and it was really doing good job considering the machine had 2gb ram :D
