How to Hard Reset AirTag & Remove from Apple ID and Reset AirTag Without iPhone

Follow this video guide to Remove AirTag from Apple ID or Reset AirTag Without iPhone or After Removed from cloud account and no in iPhone's Bluetooth range. Once we unpair AirTag from Apple ID and Reset it if Airtag is not in Bluetooth range then Reset AirTag before connecting with Other iPhone or iPad.

The Method is Very Easy, Let's first I am Removing my AirTag from Apple ID Using Find My App on iPhone.

Open Find my app on iPhone, Find and Tap on items tab.

Next, See all items in the list and tap on the Airtag name that you want to remove.

Again Scroll to the page and see the last option is Remove item.

Just Tap on it. By removing this airtag from Apple ID, will allow being activated and used by another person. just like a new setup. See Video, Ways to Setup AirTag Using iPhone.

Finally, Tap on the Remove option.

Go with the Confirm Remove option and it will need to be set up to use it again.

You will listen Airtag alert sound and Removed it from your Apple ID account.

that's it.

Now, Let's understand the Reset AirTag Functionality. As We know AirTag is attached with Apple ID so no one can Remove it Without your Permission.

If you want to use an AirTag that someone else has used, they need to remove the AirTag from their Apple ID first. If the previous user removed the AirTag from their Apple ID but they were out of the Bluetooth range of the AirTag, then you need to reset it before you can use it with your devices.

So first remove AirTag from Find My App on iPhone as we discussed earlier.

Press down on the polished stainless steel battery cover of your AirTag and rotate anticlockwise until the cover stops rotating.

Remove the cover and the battery. then Place the Battery and Press down. you will hear sound from airtag.

Again Remove the battery and press to hear sound. repeat the same steps a total of five times.

Now, place the cover by aligning the three tabs on the cover with the three slots on your AirTag.

Press down on the cover until you hear a sound.
Rotate the cover clockwise until it stops rotating.

That's it. Now, your iPhone will detect AirTag like a New Setup.

Lock the phone screen and Unlock the screen, And keep Airtag near to iPhone. or Use the Find My app to Add a new item. see how to set up Airtag with iPhone from the top video card.
