someone tried to stock my friend with an airtag so he gave it to me and i reset it but it doesnt have an owner atached to its serial number witch i find kind of interesting. but when i go to set it up it says this airtag belongs to someone else. (sorry for misspells.)

My one thing is if doing go track my purse/keys how do I prevent someone else from turning off my air tag? Or make sure I’m not sharing my location

Don’t use Duracell batteries. They have a coating on the negative side and that won’t allow them to make connection. So either use another manufacturers battery or remove the coating per other you tube videos before you insert.

we have 2 cats and put airtags on them, set them up on my iphone 12, works great...wonder if there is a way to set up my wife's iphone 14 so she can also see them on her phone "find my" app?

SOOO ABOUT AIRTAG RESET AND REPAIR

I was messing with the battery on the airtag and I reset it by accident not even knowing the reset function was there. I went to get a pizza and it said an unknown airtag was following me but it was mine and it wasn’t working on my side
