I remember when one of my favorite now streamers would always jump around, throwing roses and claiming his skin was tuxedo mask. I was sad when they took away the roses.

I think the Rose was just renamed to Poppy, not replaced with it.

There's also the ability (in java edition) to place a rose bush in a flower pot and you'll get the old rose flower
