i'm not even muslim but my father's side of the family is so i've never eaten pork and it really makes me uncomfortable too because it's just not food for me. actually i ate it once as a kid without knowing and then cried when i found out but i just wanna forget that.

i went out to eat with some muslim friends from college and we got tacos. i asked if theyd be offended if i got pork tacos in front of them and they looked at me funny and were like "of course not!" they basically said they won't eat it but dont care if i eat it. so this is on a case to case basis.
