You should not need to open and close the brake bleed bolt that quick to avoid air entering back into the system. That will only happen if your friend takes their foot off the brake pedal. Hope you can trust them 😅

Best way anyones explained doing this tbh.

Good job, but you really didn’t mention having the end of your vinyl tube submerged in the brake fluid which will prevent air from coming back in the tube

On my car I used a Taco Bell straw and a Mountain Dew bottle to catch the old fluid like a real GAMER

On twin nipple calipers I'd start from the inner valve first, then to the outer valve.

If you replaced the calipers make sure the piston is pressed all the way in with the bleed screw slightly unscrewed and the brake fluid reservoir cap open if you have fluid in the system when you install the line. You'll barely take one air bubble out afterwards.

Typically a modern day cars brakes are divided into two diagonal circuits so bleeding in a diagonal pattern makes more sense. Using your numbers it would be 1, 4, 2, 3. Furthest, nearest =circuit 1. Furthest nearest =circuit 2. Check Manufacturer to be sure.

What's that tool used in the beginning to remove the tires? I'm very new at this lol

You don’t need to bleed every caliper if you just replaced one, as long as you don’t let the master cylinder run dry… just do the one you replaced… if you do multiple calipers, start with the furthest away from the master, and then the next furthest etc…

Its actually really easy just time consuming.
Start with furthest brakes from master cylinder and work your way to the closest one.

Thanks. Can you please make a detailed video ?

I have a simpler method. When changing the caliper, open the oil drain screw with the new caliper. After the old brake hose is installed, you can see that the brake fluid flows out of the oil drain screw port, and you can see that there are no air bubbles to lock the oil drain screw port.

This girl needs to teach all other girls in the world about very helpful stuff like this because females get taken advantage of by scumbag mechanics all the time and a lot of simple stuff everyone can literally do at home for free and not pay money for it. I know a fair bit about working on cars and I have saved easily over $10k in mechanic bills/ labor but sometimes there are things you do need to go to a mechanic for because they have the right tools like a shop press unless you buy the specific tools you need, that's a 1000iq strat ;)

I’ve been procrastinating on this for 2 years…and I’ll keep procrastinating cause that’s a pain 💀

you don't have to worry about air entering, unless you can beat gravity. If you were by yourself you can open the bleeder and walk away and gravity will do the rest, just slow going.

Vacuum bleeder is easier, but this is great if you don't have one
