Great staff! Can you please also explain how exactly do you build great management stuff? Especially in the beginning of your journey. Right away skillful personnel or unskillful first and then nurture them to become skillful?

Great info as always. You'll find the Nudge podcast interesting on what it says about 10, 000 hours expertise.

This was such a useful video James. Thanks for sharing this. I’m at a real cross roads with my business where I am doing not enough (but still a fair bit) of income generating tasks, but far too much of the day to day “superhero” work as you put it too. What this ultimately has led to is burnout (it’s real people!) and a bit of a bottle neck to my scalability. I’m not adverse to working hard but I think what you’ve quite eloquently explained in this video is the importance of working smart too. So as always, thanks for sharing your knowledge for free. It’s grateful appreciated

Great content!

Few questions...How do you manage your lieutenants James? Do you have a monthly/quarterly meeting with them? Also, do u give them a bonus based on the success of the business?

I have no idea how you do it, I struggle with the mental capacity to run one business. We're on track to do £900, 000 this year, we're an online retailer and this is hard enough😅

Hi James, hope you're well!

I'm trying to start up a welding and fabrication business, not too sure what to specialise in as there's lots of things I could specialise in that would bring in good money. I'm just struggling for time and motivation, working 5 days a week full time, going to the gym 4 times a week, and my day job is the same type of work as my business idea, so by the time I get to my unit, I'm so burnt out and don't have alot of time anyway!

Any tips and advice on this would be massively appreciated!
Harrison.
