I was a hardwood floor guy for 20 years. It was all about film build finishes. I wish I had learned about hard wax oils years ago. Requires more maintenance but looks amazing. Beautiful work

There is a driftwood art group here in the pacific northwest. They use bees wax and turpentine to finish their art. But they first press the wood with an antler. A lot of work. Your tables are stunning!

Hard wax is so good, easy to fix when needing re applying

Rubio isn't a hardwax oil, it's just oil, but a bit different. It's linseed oil with a secret ingredient that make it bond with the cellulose molecules of the wood that's why it's a monocoat finish and is so easy to apply

Yes, you nailed it! I used it for 15 Years in my small Projects. Which grains do you us before Hardwax? I use 240 to 320. And after drying the Hardwax 800 ton1000.

I use timberex wax oil maybe 15 feet away from my sanding area and have never had complaints from customers

Hadwax oils looks fantastic, but that about it. Im currently contracted to be finishing everything an epoxy furniture business makes because they couldn't afford to keep refinishing there hardwax finishes. It great for display pieces but if it's going to get regular use it's going to fail.
