I don't understand, super cars that have the same technology as the GTR such as lambo and Ferrari have the same dual clutch tech and when they review those car they get wet, but when the gtr does it, it feels "boring"

Im a Porsche fanboy BUT the R is so exclusive that I would dare to call this unfair for the GT-R. In my mind people who would buy a 911R would never consider a GT-R and the people who would consider buying a GT-R wouldn't afford the 911R. This comparison is made for us ...the people who like arguing over which is better and not for real life situations.

I stopped taking this seriously when I realized this was the same "carfection" that either got the slowest GT-R or the fastest RS6 on the planet for that earlier test.

Dafuq even 2016 gtr can beat the rs6 in drag race how much audi did pay you to make the gtr lose
I am not a gtr fanboy but let's talk numbers

I had to be the one to say it but I'm glad Chester Bennington is ok and just moved away to the UK to do car reviews

Wrong comparison mate! They are two different cars. The GTR is the best all round value for money performance car in Australia by far. I know this because since 2007 I've owned an Audi R8 V8, an Audi R8 v10, a Porsche 911 Carrara 4s, two GTRs ( 2009 model and 2015), a Gallardo LP 560-4 and now own an Audi Rs7 performance. People who dismiss the GTR just recycle what they read from the jurors who can't really drive. I took my Porsche and GTR to Wakefield park and the GTR was a much faster car but yet much cheaper

I think its quite funny how Porsche tricked everyone with this car. Its always presented as old school and analog, but i think there is literally nothing in this car that is analog, except for the sensors, which talk to the computers :D It has: electric power steering, rear wheel steering, the engine is computer controlled, carbon fibre, and so on. Great car though would love to own one! Much more so than the GTR, as i belive that car will age terrebly compared to the R

Personally I’d rather have the *GT-R and extra £50, 000*

No car has a chance against the 911R in terms of sensations, emotions and feelings

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this has active dampers, active diff, rear wheel steer, active stability systems

Do these two cars attract the same customers? I can't see it.

WAS A PORSCHE GUY FOR 40 YRS. TIRED OF SPENDING HUGH MONEY FOR 400 HP. MY GTR 1400 HP IS BRUTAL AS IT GETS I GIVE A GT2 TURBO 3 CAR HEAD START AND BEAT IT BY 15 CARS. A FUCKING JOKE.

Regardless of how it drives, this 911R is gorgeous, it's imo the best looking Porsche in many many years, it also sounds amazing and drives great.
The lack of AC and radio is kind of a bummer tho, not that I would be able to afford it anyway.

That 911 R is just lovely. Nissan needs to start working on the new GT-R ASAP.

I want a bit of both. I just love NA engines and can't stand the trend to turbo charging. But I also really love the PDK. That is the perfect combination for me.
PDK won't be a problem in the future but I'm having a hard time thinking about what to get next when it comes to engines.

Comparing a 911 Turbo S with a GTR... That would be nice although the GTR would lose in every department, but comparing a 911 R to a GTR is just nonsense, two very different cars with completely different objectives and completely different price points, they are just... incomparable in my opinion. Comparing the 911R with the Nismo would be much nicer even if we still know the 911R would win by a lot. Btw, Chris Harris reviewed this 2017 GTR and he showed that the GTR does nothing for you if you actually push it to it's limits...

I still like the GTR but not the fanboys wish to turn it into a dragster.
