The problem with these bullshit races is they don't tell you how much horsepower the GTR has and the reason they don't do that is they want the GTR to look like a winner, it is not. I think people with a brain know that a stock GTR 2017 can not beat a stock 911 turbo s 2017, no way no how.

The launch of both 991 and GTR are insane! Especially for Nissan being 98% RWD under launch yet still able to hang with the lighter 40:60 991 Turbo S. The GTR may have E85 and exhaust for smoother revving but the 911 Turbo S got variable turbochargers. They both fantastic at launch.

Both are great cars, but if I had to pick one I would choose a 911 turbo s(porsche) instead of a gtr (Nissan)

The 2016 991 Turbo S makes 20 horsepower more (580 HP) and it is expected to run 10.5 @ 130+

Why not run a stock GTR? That would make it fair since both have a 3.8L turbo charged engine.

Good launch by the Porsche driver. High 10.50's is the fastest I have heard from a stock one. And to those saying but the GTR is so much cheaper. That is true but the person who buys a Turbo S is a different buyer. That buyer wants a luxurious car that's insanely fast while the gtr buyer is someone who is after performance for the dollar. The Nismo is same level of performance but not quality.
