The Alan Parsons Project were a Scottish-English rock band from the 70's-90's. They had a lot of hits in that time such as "The Raven", "(The System of) Dr. Tarr & Professor Fether", Games People Play", "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You", "Time", "Snake Eyes", "Sirius"/"Eye in the Sky", "Old & Wise", "Don't Answer Me" etc.

Definitely recommend their song Time and Don't Answer Me. Released in 1982, this song hit #3 on the Billboard charts.

Love this song. That's Alan on the right; there were at least 3 in his band, I think. Alan Parsons also produced and engineered Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, earning him his first Grammy nomination.

Great Reaction A Dogg! Another great song by them is "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You". Also they do some progressive stuff like the "Fall.of the House of Usher." Also, The full version of this song includes the instrumental "Sirius", which is best known for being the intro music for the 90s Chicago Bulls.

Alan Parsons Project - Sirius, is a must if you liked Eye in the Sky. Alan Parsons was responsible for Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon recording in the studio at Abbey Roads, yes that Abbey Roads as in The Beatles. One of the most iconic recording studios in the world if not the best known because of The Beatles.

Welcome to the APP rabbit hole! You've hit a gold mine with them. Their catalogue is extensive, their style is diverse, and each album takes you on a journey. I couldn't even tell you what to hit next, but personally, my favorite albums are I Robot, Gaudi and Eye in the Sky. Alan is still making music and his last album, The Secret, was excellent as well. He has a new album coming out in July which is gearing up to be pretty amazing (first track Uroboros was just released, check it out). The guy just has genius pouring out of his ears! They don't call him the Maestro for nothin!

Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson were the heart of the group. Various musicians came and went throughout the history of the group. Alan Parsons was originally a producer with musical talent.

This is one of those albums you can put on and listen all the way through, without realizing it's over when it is. One of my very favorites. Thank you for posting this one. Peace and happy blessings.

Alan Parsons is an English record producer. He is on the right in that photo. On the left is Eric Wolfson. He wrote most of the projects songs, and sung quite a few of them including this one. The band consists of sessions musos, particularly those that were in the band's Ambrosia and Pilot. He worked with a few singers, including Colin Blundstone from the Zombies, John Miles, Lenny Zenaki (or something similar) and bass player, David Paton. As for other songs, there are many to chose from. I like Don't Answer Me, Sooner Or Later, but if I had to chose one, I'd go with I Robot/Wouldn't Want To Be Like you, the first segues into the next.

This reaction is why I love music so much. It really brings everything and everyone together. I heard the Alan Parsons Project in High School. Watching you react to this is massively heartwarming. Thank you.

Yes, Sirius is missing from this version. It is shown as a separate song, but AP said it’s the same song.

Being a sports fan, imagine the look on his face when he hears SIRIUS for the first time.

Alan Parsons - started off working at EMI's Abbey Road studios as Tape Op for the Beatles in the 1960s; progressed to engineer Dark SIde of The Moon and then teamed up with Eric Wolfson to form Alan Parsons Project. Eric was the main song writer with Alan chipping in and masterminding the production. They used session musicians and singers (Eric taking a few himself) so there's a variety of vocal styles. It's Alan''s production that holds it all together - always sounds great! Try 'Wouldn't Want to Be Like You'; Time; 'Old and Wise'; 'Prime TIme'... lots to choose from.

For a while, Alan was the boss of Abbey Road Studios. Not bad for a guy who back in the 1960s wrote and asked for a jobhelping out around the studio!

Thanks for the reaction.

Alan Parsons was the Engineer on Pink Floyd’s DARK SIDE OF THE MOON album. Also, this song “Eye In The Sky” has a very cool intro, which isn’t included in the video you selected.
“SIRIUS / EYE IN THE SKY”
You need to check out songs, “TIME” and “DON’T ANSWER ME”. 💖💖
