And all the islands were created by the same volcano. The hotspot where the volcano is located is stationary but the tectonic plate, and therefore the sea floor, is moving westward. Eventually they will run into Asia

cool but here's a brownie recepie

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Optional: 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

3. Whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and combined. Add the melted butter and mix well.

4. *Sift in the cocoa powder*, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until fully incorporated. The batter should be thick.

5. Optional: Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts if using.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. If you prefer fudgy brownies, bake for a shorter time; for more cake-like brownies, bake a little longer.

8. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

If you go on Google Earth, you can actually see chain of underwater mountains stretching to the Kamchatka Peninsula, with at least one major direction change in that time.

Yes, but most of "Hawaii", northwest of the main islands, is small atolls, some barely poking above the ocean surface, that are "nothing at all".

And geologically speaking, the island chain is much longer and starts southwest of Attu station and the Aleutian Islands, however the first island that goes out of the water, Kure Atoll is situated much further south and east
