Substitutes - Use vaseline instead of shea butter, use cucumber gel instead of aloe Vera gel and for the beauty sleep spray, u can use vodka instead of witch hazel.

Shelf life - kindly use store bought aloe gel and rose water or else the serum will bad soon. The products just contain 2 ingredients so make them in small batches and store all the DIY products in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks. Products with no water don't need a preservative; however, make sure the products don't come in contact with water during use then a preservative will be necessary to keep them fresh.

Caution - Patch test before use, if you have a burning sensation from then you might be allergic to the ingredients or your skin might be too sensitive for the products.
