Thank you sir! This video was simple to follow Ive watched so many videos re growing garlic and the more I watched the more confused I got. I’m in N. VA. Clear instructions re different soil( garden soil & fertilizer & potting mix), I prepared the soil as you so clearly depicted planted the garlic few days ago, we had rains several days in the row once stopped got a chance to go outside oh my gowd saw so many shoots already in just a few short days my goodness…thank you thank you sir🙏❤️

Thanks Gary I needed this information because I'm in Virginia zone 7a. I'm going to sow my organic garlic cloves tomorrow October 21, 2020. However, I'm putting them in my 4ft by 36ft raised bed. My garlic cloves are soft nick. I hope that they grow good and healthy like yours does! I love your channel as I learn so much!

Garlic in Feb/March appreciate a high potash feed at that time, as this will cause the bulb to bulk up.  In fact Garlic need frost to form a good bulb size because if the winter is mild the garlic will spend its time on growing on top instead of growing below.  No frosts results in smaller bulbs.

Hi Gary - I planted Music in containers last fall. They never came up, although they had come up beautifully the year before. I planted them per your instructions. Only thing difference was we had a blizzard in MA zone 6b .
