Thanks for showing this off. I completely missed this and this can be a massive update when working with multiple brands that use the same components. You could simply turn on/off the relevant styles you wish to apply to your components.

Am I right but it seems to me like older files (created previous to 2023) don't support the new (since 2023) Figma Variables feature. That makes me scared of « cutting » stuff from LOCAL STYLES of my old design system to a new file. The thing is that LOCAL STYLES seems to stays local since I can't access them from my new file as I do with components. My components sync flawlessly between files.

When did they add this?? I had no idea. Perfect timing because I want to separate our main components file from our styles, to leverage the Swap Library feature for Dark theme.

Did you import the token library, with the new colors, into the other library? How are they connected?

Thank you so much. But, at 3:30 - you published a empty library (Style Library (NEW) before(!) you use it the frist time? Is that right?

Why cut + paste and not copy + paste? What if I need the color library in more than one file? 😩
