Move Components Between Files — Master Plugin for Figma

Learn how to move components between files in Figma using Master plugin! Create a copy of the component in the library and attach all instances of the old component to it automatically.

When nothing is selected when running the “Link” command, Master finds and links all local instances of the component it attached previously. For example:
1. Pick component A
2. Link component/instance B
3. Deselect everything (Esc)
4. Run Master to link all instances of component B in the current file to component A

0:00 — Move local component to the library
1:40 — Move variants to another file
2:46 — Move instances of library components

i think it is awesome plugins but for me it too many action to do. but maybe it can be simplified in the next update

Copy/pasting from one file into another is the only reason XD is still relevant

Now that Figma can move components between files (cut and paste), is this plugin redundant or is there something unique still?

UPDATE: Now Master works with Variants! You can select the whole variants set instead of one variant in it.

I'm sure it's another great plugin from you. But, for me there are too many steps at the moment. I just can not follow :-( Sorry
