As Ive played with this mech on the gear hub alt account, I can really only recommend getting it in tier 2 and using it then with no upgrading. Its a decent early mech, but it gives diminishing returns on upgrades as you start to unlock more mechs at 16 energy and will slow down your climb in the gear hub unless you spend (and even then, there are likely better items to invest into). So get it for the tier its on, but dont focus on it.

Would love to see maxing Puma to 32 energy capacity worthwhile. Perhaps once you hit a certain total garage power, you unlock a feature to "ascend" maxed ubcommon mechs to a more usable statline for endgame play. The vidoe has it right. This is exclusivley an early game mech. No reasonable person would spend the a-coins it takes to max Puma, so it's hard to understand why the option exists.

This is why Panther was put in the EPIC grade. Puma has a shield wall that is destructible. Panther's stasis barrier is completely indestructible. Making Panther the better of the two. Why did you make Panther P2W

Puma is a good early mech but after you get mechs like Ares or Arachnos, you'd want some space for them so most of the time I saw people replace panther with other mechs. But it is still indeed a good starter mech. ❤ MechArenaOfficial good video

Puma is pretty good for beginners but when you get around at6 its basically useless if you don't upgrade it. A small buff for pumas armor will make it way better. The energy capacity is pretty good. Nice one Mech Arena!👍

Mech arena is very fun but there’s one thing that bothers me and that’s there’s a meta. Most mechs and weapons should be viable endgame to give much more variety in people’s hangars. And all mechs should be beefier to help with that.
