In theory, you could use the Jump combined with the increased damage upon hitting somebody's back to do something called 'Trickstabbing.'

It largely relies on the enemy not predicting that you're about to leap over their head, so you'd probably have to figure out how to trick them into dropping their guard...And then nailing the fool in the back with the strongest weapon you have when the opportunity strikes!

Ideally, something which hits like a bus but has a small clip would work perfectly. Extra funny points if you somehow do this with...I dunno, a sniper rifle weapon?

Also, a mean buff would be letting the Lancer turn while in the air, granting it the ability to cleanly leap around corners for ambushes - something unique which the other Scouts simply don't have. As far as I can tell, it'd be fair enough - slightly weaker weapons for the ability to 'Trickstab' enemies and get behind cover really quickly would help the Lancer be extra unpredictable!

Lancer-the first mech that has complete freedom of movement on the map, if you remove the invisible walls, then he would escape and fly away on a rocket to hell on the map space

Lancer is best for CPC only because in Tournaments we need to do more kills in short time so all are preferring attackers, Zephyr and kill shot. If you increase rewards for CPC then all will use mechs like Lancer and shadow

The update did justice to mechs like lancer now that it max out at 16 energy. Just imagine a lancer with railgun that would be fun.

not gonna lie when i started playing i loved lancer but after getting killshot lancer is literally wasted 🤣🤣🤣
But i still use it for javeline rack and i am upgrading it to get a few pairs of pulse cannons on it 😅

Lancer is the best distractor. I always use this to counter the panthers (often arachon and juggernaut too)

Lancers are best scout mechs. But unfortunately the game developers never thought of giving it its ability. I never saw a bot using its jump jet ability. That's a shame!

The Lancer is a good Mech to Harass other players. If you know how to use it, it can be a deadly ganker

Don't underestimate lancers. Even tho my lancer only uses a pair of thermal lance 2s, it's pretty op. The enemy can't hit me because im so fast and i can juke them. I also hit them from high ground, on high and hidden spots. It went to the top 3s plenty of times and it's marked my most used mech too.
