The Death of Ellen Tigh - Actor Motivations

preview_player
Показать описание
Micheal Hogan and Kate Vernon who played Col. Tigh and his wife Ellen talk about the death of Ellen, and what they were feeling about it. It also gives more of the actor's rationale for what they did during the scene. This is the rational about why there was often so much tension.

This was filmed on Day 1 of the Farpoint convention held February 2012 in TImonium Maryland

That one little gesture with the cup always struck me as so moving, so to hear Kate describe the motivations behind it here is really special.

Incredibly moving and powerful. It is a scene that stands out within a show that is absolutely incredible. Excellent storytelling and acting on a different level.

I wish Hogan would stop shifting in his seat and reminisce Vernon's poignant take of that scene. Instead he reverts to Academy Award winner speech of thanking Writers, crew, blah blah without touching on the emotional depth and range required to hit that mark
Perhaps it's too personal and he deflects, I don't know
