I've had cancer 3 times, which left me wheelchair bound and after 27 major surgies, so many medical problems. Watching these adventures are just great for me. I'd never be able to climb those stairs. So I travel in toe of your camera showing all thesebeautiful places of the world that I'd never otherwise see. Thank You for sharing your travels in this format I for one so very much appreciate it.

The smear on your forehead is holy ash called we-boo-thee. Primarily offered in Saiva sect of Hinduism, it signifies life's philosophy, "humans are mere mortals in this universe and they become ash like this and hence never be arrogant". When prepared and applied the right way, it allegedly prevents one from sinusitis troubles.

This typical south Indian origin food is, amber coloured dumpling made of lentils and called va-dye. Accompanying amber coloured soup is a concoction of mashed lentils, cooked vegetables and an array of herbs plus spices and called sam-bar. Accompanying cream colour chutney is made of coconut and lentils. Another amber color pancake is made of rice called doh-s-aye. A special variety called "masala dosai' might contain a treasure trove inside made of mashed potato, chillies, turmeric and other spices.

We lived in Kuala Lumpur for two years and visited the Caves with visiting friends and family many times. It always remained a wonderful experience. On our way back we used to buy delicious traditional Indian sweets at some of the many stalls at the bottom of the stairs. Your video brought back many happy memories!

My my you have a beautiful eyes. You look like a doll. Whenever I go to Batu Caves, I like to feed to pigeon and koi fish. Then get some food from the food stall. I have been there on Thaipusam, to crowded. But you still can watch the parade from out side temple. And also they offer a lot of free food.

You didn't go in the dark cave! It's cost money by it's totally worth it. To see a trap door spider in real life was surprisingly cool. Remind me of watching magic school bus when I was a kid. It also one of the most rare. If you are ever back in Kuala Lumpur it is worth the trip back to the cave to take the short tour in the dark caves. It's restricted to protect the animals so you have to go in with a little group and a guide you meet at the entrance where you pay.
