Just replaced the high pressure pump last week following the info on this video, it was easy and now the rattle noice is gone and engine is much quieter. Thank you for sharing your knowledge it probably saved me thousand of dollars in repairs.

I have a rattle noise on my 2012 Hyundai sonata gls. It rattles when I drive at low speeds then goes away. Mechanics said it was serpentine belt pulleys so he replaced those and the belt. Problem never went away. It does sound like it's coming from under the valve cover.

Have a 2014 Hyundai sonata 2.0 turbo it's got a knocking noise and won't drive now over 40 mph and when trying to accelerate it takes off very slowly but once it gets going it would do all right but you can't get over haven't been driving it I went and called and found out the two codes is basically saying something about a camshaft valve and also the other one is a knock sensor does that mean that the engine is blown and it's going to have to be repaired

Ok so the camshaft fuel pump follower needs to be replaced because of the rattle noise. Do I have to replace the high pressure fuel pump also or is that still good. Please get back to me. The fuel pump is expensive so hopefully I don't have to replace that also

Was hoping to actually hear the noise because my mom's 2018 Hyundai SE has a slight rattling sound when she accelerates and the car kind of jerks at slower speeds (like her 2012 Nissan Altima used to do with that horrid CVT but not as bad, just kind of like a little hiccup feeling at slow speeds).

Nice so mine those like a disel when I come to a complete stop and when I press the gas it stops can I just change the fuel pump follower or do I have to change the whole fuel pump car runs perfectly just the noise everything to a complete stop
