Rattling noise inside engine! Timing chain loose. Prius

I recently replaced the timing chain in a Prius due to the annoying rattling noise, here you can see a loose chain that’s suppose to be tight, all guides were worn and the tensioner was maxed out. All parts were replaced for about $500.00 labor and parts, kinda fast repair and had it running the same day. Less than 7 hours to complete

You need to change the tensioner on it before it skips and ruin your engine

I need to do this on my Mom's car. Done a lot of Timing belts, never a chain, is it a pain in the ass compared to a belt? How hard is it to get the timing right with the chain, or should the chain fit once TDC is set?

What did you do to fix the problem? change the tensioner? if so, how do you find a new tensioner alone?

I own a 20212 toyota camry and im starting to hear the rattle, after deacribing the chain like sound to a mechanic he cane to the conclusion that its most likely the timing chain, he reccomends that i replace the engine, I do see that the tensioner moves with the idle of the engine, im not aure if thats a normal thing, But do you think replacing the tensioner can fix the issue??

How bad was the noise? My Prius was making a lot of noise before I parked it. I always changed the oil but it has 221000 miles. Could replacing the chain fix the problem?
